Google Pixel 3XL smartphone will feature wireless charging feature, which has been confirmed in a recently leaked video.
Google, a leading technology giant, is expected to launch new Pixel 3 series globally in October this year. The tech giant had always trailed when it came to adding new features to Pixel as well as Nexus series. Moreover, OEMs were the first to introduce fingerprint scanner, water resistance, wireless charging and notched display on their respective devices. However, the company will be bringing the notched display and wireless charging features to the new Pixel 3 devices. The notch display can be confirmed from the recently leaked images of the Pixel 3, and wireless charging feature is currently under works for the devices. A small video of the upcoming device has emerged online, which was posted by Twitter user @khoroshev which shows wireless charging enabled Google Pixel 3XL. It is the same user that had shared camera samples of the forthcoming Google device. The 13-second video does not reveal any particular details about the wireless charging capabilities, but it confirms the fact that the Pixel smartphone will support wireless charging feature. On the specification front, the new Pixel and Pixel 3XL device will continue to sport single camera at the rear. However, we can expect more refinements on the camera front. The smartphones are expected to carry Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 845 SoC with an octa-core CPU that will be paired to up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of inbuilt storage. The company is expected to schedule the global launch event of the smartphones on October 4 for the third time in a row. However, an official word from the American tech giant is still awaited.
