New Apple iPhone Models Likely to Come With Dual-SIM Support - Report

With the increasing competition in the flagship segment, Apple is reportedly working on introducing a dual-SIM iPhone in the market this year. According to the report from Bloomberg, the American tech giant is expected to launch the new dual-SIM featured smartphone in the some of the regions. The media report recently revealed that the Operating system iOS 12 developer Beta 5, which was released earlier this year includes references for dual-SIM support. The report from Verge further highlighted that the OS also mentions the second physical SIM try. Several Apple rivals such as OnePlus, Samsung, and Huawei are offering dual-SIM support on their flagship devices. Also, the company will be aiming to increase its global market share, which was 12.1 percent for the Q2, 2018. On the other hand, Samsung leads the global market with 20.9 percent of shares followed by Huawei with 15.8 percent.
