The studio behind popular games like Mortal Kombat and Injustice 2 has reportedly laid off its mobile team, resulting in the shutting down of Mortal Kombat: Onslaught. Developers from NetherRealm Studios shared on LinkedIn that they have been laid off. It seems like the company is making job cuts, especially to its mobile team. One of the employees affected by this layoff reportedly mentioned that the whole mobile team at NetherRealm Studios has been completely shut down.
As per a report of Benzinga, NetherRealm Studios disbands its mobile team and shutting down Mortal Kombat: Onslaught. NetherRealm developers have also shared their experiences on LinkedIn, indicating that the entire mobile team has been laid off, according to a report of IGN.
