New Delhi, October 11: Netflix reportedly faces another round of layoffs as the company undergoes a PR reorganisation. As per reports, these layoffs have taken place at a time when the video-streaming platform is making adjustments to its business model to streamline its operations.

The job cuts can be seen as part of Netflix's attempt to improve efficiency in its PR activities. The company had previously gone through layoffs. As per multiple reports, back in April, the company laid off around 15 employees from its film department as part of a reorganisation. It reportedly happened after Dan Lin took over leadership from Scott Stuber. As per a report of Tribune, Netflix is going through a new round of layoffs. The job cuts affected the teams responsible for promoting Netflix’s popular series and films. Employees from Netflix‘s PR operation team were affected by the layoffs, as per a report of Deadline.

The company might be making these adjustments to focus on new strategies. Reports suggest that around 10 employees in Netflix’s series and film publicity departments are affected by the layoffs. One of the key employees reportedly impacted by the layoffs was Jason Clark, the Director of Publicity, who had worked at Netflix for more than seven years. The layoffs reportedly occurred on the same day that Netflix's Chief Content Officer, Bela Bajaria, shared news about upcoming series and renewals at the Bloomberg Screentime event.
