MWC 2019: Sony Xperia 1, Xperia 10, Xperia 10 Plus Smartphones Launched; Prices, Features & Specifications
Sony has officially revealed Xperia 1, Xperoa 10 and Xperia 10 Plus smartphones at the ongoing Mobile Congress 2019.
Sony Mobile, the Japanese smartphone maker finally revealed three new smartphones at the 2019 Mobile World Congress which includes Xperia 1, Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus. Of these, the new Xperia 1 device is the flagship smartphone. All the three devices comes with a display carrying an ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio. Slated to be launched later this year, the company hasn't revealed the official prices of Xperia 1. However, it is reported that the phone will be priced around EUR 799 (around Rs 74,200). Coming to the specifications, the new flagship device comes with a 6.5-inch HDR OLED CinemaWide display with resolution of 1644X3840 pixels and 21:9 aspect ratio. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6, the new Sony X1 is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 855 SoC that will be mated to 6GB of RAM. In the camera department, the new Xperia X1 gets a triple camera module institing 12MP primary shooter, 12MP wide angle lens, and 12MP tertiary sensor. At the front, the new Xperia X1 gets an 8MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. Backed by 3300 mAh battery, the device also gets Xperia Adaptive Charging along with Smart Stamina and Stamina mode. Coming Xperia 10, the device sports a 6-inch FHD+ display with aspect ratio of 21:9. Under the skin, the phone gets Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset that is clubbed with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone also gets memory expansion by adding a microSD card. For photography, the phone packs dual rear camera setup comprising of 13MP primary snapper and 5MP secondary sensor. Upfront, there is an 8MP selfie shooter. Sony Xperia 10 Plus, on the other hand, the phone gets slightly bigger 6.5-inch FHD+ display with the same aspect ratio as that the Xperia 10. Featuring Gorilla Glass 5 protection, the new Sony Xperia 10 Plus is powered by 636 chipset which is clubbed with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Like Xperia 10, the bigger Xperia 10 Plus also gets a dual camera module at the rear featuring 12MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary lens. The selfie camera is straightaway lifted from Xperia 10. The dual-SIM also gets 3000 mAh battery with fast charging.
