Motorola just teased fans with a “tweet to reveal” function on its Twitter handle, as a precursor to the launch of Moto G6 Plus smartphone in India. No dates were mentioned but the Twitter handle hinted that the device would be coming soon with an upgraded camera configuration. Last month, the Lenovo-owned smartphone company had introduced Moto G6, and Moto G6 Play in India at a price starting from Rs 11,999 on Amazon and Flipkart.

As per speculations after Moto’s Brazil launch, the upcoming Moto G6 Plus phone could sport a 5.9-inch FHD+ display with resolutions of 1080 X 2160 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone may feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC paired with up to 6 GB RAM and could get a 64 GB internal storage space. Also for the graphics performance, the device could have an Adreno 508 GPU. Whereas, the smartphone may run on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo OS and could feature Moto Voice assistance.
Regarding the camera setup, the phone may go with a dual lens of 12MP + 5MP sensors. However, at the front, the device could get an 8MP selfie camera. In the connectivity section, the phone is expected to support, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C 1.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 and a 3,200 mAh battery with fast-charging abilities. The Moto G6 Plus was priced at Euro 299 (Approx. 24,000), so we can expect the phone to be priced around Rs 20,000 since the previous models launched in India were priced at Rs 16,540 (Moto G6 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage).
