Mumbai, August 22: Lenovo-owned smartphone maker is ready to expand its Razr 50 series by introducing the vanilla Razr 50 foldable phone in the Indian market very soon. Though the brand hasn’t revealed the launch date yet, the recent teaser on Amazon suggests that it could go official in the country very soon. It’s worth noting that the new-generation Razr 50 Ultra was launched in India last month with a price tag of INR 99,999 for the base 12GB + 512GB variant, which is currently available at a special price of INR 94,998.

As for specifications, the upcoming Moto Razr 50 will sport a 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLED primary display, slightly smaller than the 6.9-inch pOLED panel offered on the Razr 50 Ultra. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits of peak brightness. The secondary screen is a 3.6-inch FHD pOLED cover display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the flip-style foldable smartphone is a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Vivo T3 Pro 5G India Launch Confirmed For August 27.

For photography, the Motorola Razr 50 foldable smartphone gets a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary shooter and a 13MP ultra-wide shooter. The front camera is a 32MP snapper for video calls and selfies. The flip-style foldable phone is backed by a 4,200mAh battery supporting 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. It runs on Motorola’s MyUX based on Android 14 OS out-of-the-box.
