Motorola has now confirmed the Razor 40 and its more premium sibling Razr 40 Ultra's arrival in the Indian market post a recent teaser. The company's India website confirms the imminent launch of the latest Motorola foldable phones in the country. Motorola has announced the arrival of the Razr 40 Ultra and the Razr 40 to India on July 3. Motorola has listed both the foldable phones on its Indian website, alongside their details as well.
The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is the more premium model in the series and boasts of a big 3.6-inch pOLED cover display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The inner primary display is 6.9-inch pOLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate.
The Moto Razr 40 Ultra features a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, a 3,800mAh battery with 30W fast charging support, and boots on Android 13 OS. The device’s dual rear cameras comprise of a 12MP and a 13MP unit; while a 32MP camera handles the selfies and video chats. The device gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security, dual stereo speakers and will come in Infinite Black and Viva Magenta colour options. The Motorola Razr 40 vanilla is a comparatively lesser version that comes packed with a smaller 1.5-inch outer display and a 6.9-inch primary inner display featuring pOLED panels and supports 144Hz refresh rate. The foldable phone boasts of a larger 4,200mAh battery pack with 30W fast charging support.
The Razr 40 offers a dual camera setup with a 64MP primary shooter, and front facing 32MP selfie camera. This phone also comes with dual stereo speakers among other features, and will be offered in Sage Green, Vanilla Cream and Summer Lilac shades.
