Motorola One Power Smartphone Likely to Get Slim Bezels, Android One OS and iPhone X Like Notch - Report

Motorola, a Lenovo-owned smartphone manufacturing company is set to launch its new addition to the G family, Moto G6 & Moto G6 Play on June 4, 2018. Amidst of the launch of new G-series smartphones, a new leak has surfaced on the internet reveals that the company is working on a new budget device which is expected to be called as Motorola Power One. Courtesy of Android Headlines, the rendered pictures reveals that the smartphone could carry a bezel-less display with an iconic iPhone X like notch on the front. The source also claims that the new device from Motorola will run on Android One. If the sources are correct, then Motorola’s new budget-friendly smartphone will be the second phone to get Google’s Android One OS after Moto X4.

Based on the rendered image by Android Headlines, Motorola One Power smartphone has a vertically placed dual-camera setup at the rear, while up front it has a selfie camera with LED flash. At the back, it could also sport a fingerprint scanner with Moto logo inscribed on it. As for design, it looks entirely different from its previous models. At this point, no specification has been disclosed. The source also claims that the phone is not branded as a ‘Moto’ device instead it is likely to be christened as Motorola One Power.

Motorola will be launching its new G series, Moto G6 & Moto G Play next week in India. As for specifications, Moto G6 is expected to come with a 5.7 inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080X2160 pixels. The device is powered by 1.8 GHz octa-core processor with a 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The phone packs a 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB. As for the optics, it offers a dual camera setup of 12MP+5MP sensors with a dual LED flash at the back, while a 16MP selfie shooter at up front. The device is loaded with a 3000mAh battery which supports Turbocharging.

On the other hand, Moto G6 Play is also expected to feature the same display as the Moto G6. Under the hood, it packs a 1.4 GHz Octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB. For optics, the Moto G Play offers a 12MP primary shooter and a 5MP selfie snapper. The smartphone is backed with a 4,000mAh battery. The Moto G6 series smartphones are expected to be priced between Rs. 15,000 - Rs. 20,000.
