Motorola, a Lenovo-owned brand finally has launched the new Motorola One Power smartphone in India today. Priced at Rs 15,999, the smartphone was initially revealed at IFA 2018 alongside Motorola One in Berlin last month. Running the stock Android 8.1 Oreo, the smartphone is backed by Google's Android One programme, which will be getting Android Pie OS update as soon as in October. The new Motorola One Power smartphone comes with a 6.2-inch FHD+ Max Vision LCD display with a notch on the top. It comes with 19:9 aspect ratio and 1080x2246 pixels of resolution. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, which is mated to Adreno 509 GPU and 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal memory. As far as the camera specifications are concerned, the handset gets a dual camera setup at the rear featuring a 16MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 5MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture. At the front, the device features a 12MP sensor with a single tone flash for selfies and video calling. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The sensors incorporated on the newly launched phone are fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and more. The smartphone also packs a 5000 mAh battery with TurboPower charger that gives up to 6 hours of power in just 15 minutes charge as claimed by the company. The new smartphone from Motorola competes against Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Nokia 6.1 Plus in the mid-range smartphone segment.
