Motorola is reportedly believed to be working on the next generation Moto G7 smartphone, which is expected to get Waterdrop notched display. With the commencement of the first sale for the Motorola One Power’s in India today, the company is rumoured to be working on a new device. This news comes from a tech website ‘HowToTechNaija’, which have shared a leaked specs sheet revealing the upcoming Motorola’s phone features. Going through the specification sheet, the next device from Motorola in the G series, which will be called as Moto G7 is likely to be announced later this year. The leaked spec sheet also gave us a few features that can be expected from the upcoming device. The Moto G7 phone could -sport a 6.4-inch FHD+ waterdrop notched display with a resolution of 1080 X 2340 pixels. The phone is also expected to have a 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM combinations. However, the spec sheet did not specify the chipset, but it has revealed that the device will pack an octa-core SoC. Coming to the optics, the phone will carry a dual camera setup featuring 16MP + 5MP sensors at the rear reveals the spec sheet. It also hints that the device will feature a 12MP single sensor at the front.
Likely to run on the latest Android Pie OS, the new Moto G7 smartphone will be backed by a 3500mAh battery as per the leaked specification sheet.

Earlier today, new render video of the Moto G7 smartphone was revealed courtesy of OnLeaks. The CAD rendered video hints that the Moto G7 smartphone will carry a significant design upgrade in comparison to its predecessor. The video also showed the smartphone to have a USB Type-C port along with a sound bar and a 3.5mm headphone jack. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the launch date of the device. But, several reports claim that the rumoured phone could be launched by the end of this year globally. Also, it has been said that this time of the launch (when it’s officially announced) of the Moto G7, the company might be ditching the Play variant of the series (Like seen in the previous Moto G line-ups – Moto G Plus, Moto G & Moto Play).
