Mumbai, July 21: Motorola is prepping to expand its Edge 50 series by adding a new smartphone to the line-up for the Indian market. Based on the recent market speculations, Motorola Edge 50 Neo could be launched in India very soon. Detailed specifications and press render of the upcoming handset have surfaced online before its official debut, courtesy of 91Mobiles. The 5G phone will come as a successor to Motorola Edge 40 Neo, launched in September last year. Expect Motorola to announce the launch date in the coming days.

The render images suggest that the upcoming Motorola Edge 50 Neo will have a 120Hz pOLED display, Dimensity 7300 SoC, and triple rear camera setup. Coming to specifications, Motorola Edge 50 Neo may boast a 6.4-inch FHD+ pOLED flat display, supporting a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and Dolby Atmos. The handset will also have IP68 ratings for protection against water and dust. It will draw power from MediaTek’s octa-core Dimensity 7300 4nm processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Motorola could offer the handset in two storage configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. Nothing Phone 2a Plus Launch Confirmed on July 31.

For optics, the handset will pack a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary lens with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide secondary camera, and a 10MP snapper for macro and depth images. The front camera will be 32MP with Quad Pixel Technology. It will run on Motorola’s MyUI based on Android 14. The company could pack the 5G handset with a 4,310mAh battery supporting 68W TurboPower fast charging.
