Motorola has officially announced the price of its newest flagship phone, the Edge 50 Fusion smartphone in India. The 5G phone has two variants – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. While the former costs Rs. 22,999, the latter has a price tag of Rs. 24,999. The phone will go on sale starting May 22 via Flipkart.com at noon. As a part of the launch offer, the tech giant is offering an instant discount of Rs. 2,000 on ICICI bank credit card and credit card EMI transactions. It brings the cost down to Rs. 20,999 and Rs. 22,999 for the 8GB and 12GB variants respectively. The phone comes in three colours – Forest Blue with PMMA, Hot Pink with Vegan leather suede and Marshmallow Blue with Vegan leather finish. As for specifications, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion boats a 6.7-inch FHD 3D curved pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and on-display fingerprint scanner. The panel also gets a 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut, 1600 units of peak brightness, and 10-bit billion colour support. Apart from this, the screen also has  Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone is IP68 certification for underwater protection.

Under the hood, the 5G-enabled smartphone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC processor. The chip is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion has a dual camera module at the rear for photography. It comprises a 50MP Sony-Lytis 700C sensor with OIS support and f/1.8 aperture. The secondary camera is a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 120 Degree FOV, macro vision and f/2.2 aperture. Upfront, there’s a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calling with Quad Pixel technology. The new Edge 50 Fusion is backed by a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 68W TurboPower fast charging support.
