Mumbai, June 26: Lenovo-owned smartphone brand Motorola has finally launched the highly awaited new generation of foldable phones, the Moto Razr 50 series, alongside the Motorola S50 Neo mid-range offering in China. The latest clamshell-style foldable smartphones bear Air Nanoskin 6000 series aluminium frame and carry 6.9-inch primary screens. Both foldable phones are slightly different in storage configuration, colours and specifications. Moto Razr 50 and Moto Razr 50 Ultra foldable flip phones are available via Lenovo’s official China e-store. Redmi Note 13 Chromatic Purple Colour Variant Launched in India.
Talking about the pricing, the vanilla Moto Razr 50 gets two variants - 8GB+256 and 12GB+512GB, that are priced at CNY 3,699 (around Rs. 47,000) and CNY 3,999 (around Rs. 50,000), respectively. Moto Razr 50 Ultra, on the other hand, comes in 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB variants. The former costs CNY 5,699 (around Rs. 66,000), while the latter has a price tag of CNY 6,199 (around Rs. 74,000). The regular model gets three colours - Grey, Black and Orange, and the Razr 50 Ultra also comes in three colours - Green, Peach and Blue.
Moto Razr 50 Specifications:
The Moto Razr 50 sports a 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLED primary display with 120Hz refresh rate. The secondary screen is a 3.6-inch FHD+ pOLED cover screen, slightly smaller than the one seen on the Razr 50 Ultra. It draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage. The vanilla model has a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The front snapper is a 32MP sensor catering to selfies and video calls. It packs a 4,200mAh battery with 30W (wired) and 15W wireless charging.
Moto Razr 50 Ultra Specifications:
The Moto Razr 50 Ultra, on the other hand, bears the same 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLED inner display but has a higher refresh rate of 165Hz. The secondary screen is a 4-inch cover screen featuring a 165Hz refresh rate (the standard model gets 90Hz). It draws power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB onboard storage.
Like the standard model, the Moto Razr 50 Ultra also carries a dual rear camera setup for photography. However, there is a 50MP primary sensor with OIS support and a 50MP telephoto camera. At the front, the Moto Razr 50’s elder sibling has a 32MP snapper for selfies and video callings. Under the hood, it has a 4,000mAh battery with 45W (wired) fast charging and 15W wireless charging support, which is a slightly smaller battery than the vanilla model. Both the phones run on Motorola’s MyUX based on Android 14 OS out-of-the-box.
