Motorola is likely to equip the Moto G85 with a 6.6-inch curved OLED display with 1080x2400 pixel resolution. The panel is tipped to support a 120Hz refresh rate. It could draw power from Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The smartphone could come in three variants - 8GB RAM + 128GB, 12GB RAM + 256GB and 16GB RAM + 512GB.

For optics, Moto G85 could get a dual rear camera module comprising a 50MP primary shooter and an 8MP secondary snapper. The main camera is tipped to be a Sony IMX882 sensor with f/1.79 aperture, while the secondary camera will be an ultrawide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is said to be a 32MP snapper for selfies and video calling. The phone is said to be backed by a 4,850 mAh battery. However, recently leaked details from a credible tipster suggest the phone will get a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W charging. It will run on Hello UI based on Android 13 OS out-of-the-box.
