Motorola, a Lenovo owned smartphone maker has officially launched the new Moto G6 series alongside new Moto E5 range of smartphones today at an event in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The new Moto G6 series smartphones were one of the most awaited smartphones in the market today. Moreover, Honor also launched its flagship device globally in the Chinese market today. Always known for its surprises, Motorola also introduced Moto E5 series alongside the new Moto G6 series. However, there is no formal statement regarding the release date as well as prices specific to the Indian market. Starting with Moto G6, the smartphone comes with a 5.7-inch display panel with full-HD Plus resolution and aspect ratio of 18:9. Other highlights of the smartphone are 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage capacity, Android 8.0 Oreo OS, dual-SIM functionality, dual rear camera setup (12MP + 5MP), dual-lens LED flash, single LED front flash. 3.5mm jack, 3000 mAh battery, and more. Offered in 2 exciting shades - Indigo and Silver, the smartphone measures 153.7x72.3x8.3mm in terms of dimensions.
Moving on to Moto G6 Plus, the device gets 5.93-inch display with full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixel) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It also comes with Android 8.0 Oreo, the dual-SIM, 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, a dual rear camera (12MP+5MP), 8MP selfie shooter, dual-lens rear LED flash, selfie flash, 3200 mAh battery with TurboPower adapter and much more. The smartphone is available in 2 shades - Indigo and Gold colours which measures 159.9x75.5x7.99mm in dimension.
The last smartphone launched in the G6 series is the new Moto G6 Play which comes with a 5.7-inch display with HD+ 720x1440 pixel resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio, Stock Android 8.0 Oreo, dual-SIM, 1.4GHz oct-core Snapdragon 430, Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 13MP fast focus primary camera, a 8MP selfie shooter and more. The handset is available in 2 colors - Indigo and Gold colours, likewise Moto G6. The newly launched devices will be available for sale in Brazil from today onwards while will be launched in Mexico next week. Moreover, the company has also specified that the smartphones will be introduced in Asia Pacific markets including India, Europe, Latin American and North American in next couple of months. As far as the pricing is concerned, the Moto G6 is priced at $249 (around Rs. 16,500) whereas the Moto G6 Play attract buyers with a price tag of $199 roughly Rs. 13,000). On the other hand, the top end model of the series - Moto G6 Plus gets a price of EUR 299 (approximately Rs. 24,350).
