Moto G6 Play Launching in India on May 21; Will be Sold Online Exclusively via Flipkart
Motorola might launch the new Moto G6 Play Smartphone in India on May 21 which will be retailed via Flipkart only.
After launching the new Moto G6 series in Brazil last month, Motorola India is now all set to launch the same in the domestic market. As per the recent tweet, it is believed that Lenovo owned smartphone making company might launch the new Moto G6 series in India on May 21. However, it is speculated that the smartphone maker will be launching the entry level Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 first in the country. Moreover, the Moto G6 series will be sold in the country online exclusively via Flipkart unlike G5s and G5s Plus. Talking about the Moto G6 Play, the smartphone is the entry level device from the smartphone maker under the G6 series that sports a 3D design which looks radical different than the Moto G5 series. As far as the features are concerned, the handset comes a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with 1440x720 pixels resolution and aspect ratio of 18:9. The device comes powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC which will be mated to a 2GB or 3GB of RAM along with up to 32GB of internal storage. The photography section is take care by 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and phase detection autofocus. Moreove, the smartphone also gets an 8MP shooter upfront that with dedicated LED flash that supports 1080p video recording.
Another highlight of the new Moto G6 series is that it comes with fingerprint sensor at the rear embedded in Moto dimple. It also supports WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS however, there are official words about the NFC support. Other notable features of the new Moto G6 Play are Android 8.0 Oreo along with Moto Experiences, larger 4,000mAh battery, two colour options - Indigo and Gold color, expandable up to 256GB via a microSD and much more.
