Mumbai, May 30: Motorola will officially launch a new budget smartphone, G04s, in India today. Price, sale date and offer details for the Moto G04s will be announced at noon via Flipkart. It will be a minor upgrade to the Moto G4 entry-level phone, which made its debut this February. The brand has already revealed key details of the pocket-friendly phone via a micro-site listed on the e-commerce platform. Moto G4s will boast a 6.6-inch HD+ punch-hole LCD screen supporting a 90Hz refresh rate. The display will have Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It will draw power from an octa-core Unisoc T606 processor. The chipset will come clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It will also get a RAM boost of up to 8GB with up to 4GB of virtual RAM.
The USP of Motorola's G04s smartphone will be its 50MP AI shooter, a significant upgrade over the G04 that gets a 16MP snapper. The device is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with no fast charging support, offering 102 hrs of playback and 17 hours of social media browsing. It will run on Android 14 OS out of the box.
Motorola could offer the G04s in 4 colour options - Satin Blue, Concord Black, Sea Green and Sunrise Orange. As far as pricing is concerned, Motorola introduced the Moto G04 phone at Rs. 6,999. We expect a similar price range for Moto G04s. For ease of use, it will get gestures like Twist to open the camera and Chop Chop for a flashlight.
