Motorola India has finally launched the much awaited new Moto E5 series in India today which includes Moto E5 and E5 Plus. Launched with starting price of Rs. 9999, the new Moto E5 smartphone will be available only on Moto Hubs. On the other hand, the bigger E5 Plus is priced at Rs. 11,999 that is slated to go on sale tonight exclusively via Amazon India. With the introduction of new E5 and E5 Plus smartphones, the Lenovo-owned company aims to strengthen its budget-oriented product offerings. The company introduced the new E5 series in the domestic market today at an event in Delhi. Talking about the Moto E5 Plus, it is an entry-level device from the Lenovo-owned company which bears a 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The handset gets thinner bezels upfront. The device gets a fingerprint sensor mounted at the rear along with and a USB Type 2.0 charging port. Running on Android 8.0 Oreo, the new Moto E5 bags a plastic bodied design. Powering the E5 Plus handset is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC with Adreno 505 GPU which is clubbed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space. The internal memory is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The main underline of the smartphone is the 5000 mAh battery which comes with Turbo Power fast charging. Moto Z3, Motorola One & Motorola One Power Likely to Be Launched on August 2 at the Chicago Event.

Coming to the camera department, it packs a 12MP rear shooter with f/2.0 aperture, laser Autofocus and LED flash along with an 8MP selfie camera with dedicated flash. For connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, and GLONASS. As far as the availability is concerned, the new Moto E5 Plus will be available via online as well as offline modes whereas E5 will be sold via offline only.

Now moving on to Moto E5, the smartphone is fitted with a smaller screen and battery in comparison to its elder sibling. The phone gets a 5.7-inch Max Vision HD Plus display screen with aspect ratio of 18:9. Backed by a 4000 mAh battery, the new Moto E5 comes powered by Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor, which is clubbed with 2GB of RAM and internal memory of 16GB. In terms of optics, the phone carries a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP selfie snapper.
