Microsoft Kaizala Launches in India, Mobile-based Chat Application to Improve Work Co-ordination

Software major Microsoft launched chat app Kaizala to boost the growth of its enterprise products in India. It is a mobile-only product designed for large group communications and management. The Microsoft Kaizala will make it simple for organizations to seamlessly communicate, collaborate and complete tasks, bring together desktop users and mobile-only users who may be within or outside their organizations. Microsoft India also announced the launch of the enterprise version which is called Kaizala Pro. This version will full administrative control of the groups to the respective organizations.

We are seeing a lot of organizations which have extended teams, widely dispersed today. In different industries, there are people placed at different centers co-ordinating together. So the Microsoft Kaizala will help them to connect to a large group, within and outside the organisation. This application will help coordination between the top officials and first line workers who may be based in different places. Users only have to register their mobile phone numbers for their unique ID. It is powered by Microsoft Azure, Microsoft’s trusted cloud platform.

As India looks ahead to becoming digital, such technological invention only accelerate the growth towards the vision. "Microsoft Kaizala, a made for India product, brings together the two disparate worlds of mobile-only messaging apps and a digitally integrated modern workplace. The product will make it possible for organizations to interact with everyone both within and outside, seamlessly and with rich content," said Anant Maheshwari, President, Microsoft India. The application works for 2G networks to enable connectivity in remote locations. Moreover, it also has features for offline support.

So now organizations can use the chat interface for conducting surveys and polls. You can also add and decide on meetings on this chat application. It basically aims to connect the parts of the organisation who may not be connected to the larger departments. The application has been already adopted in YES Bank, Apollo Telemedicine, United Phosphorous Limited and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, etc. The first governmental organizations to use Microsoft Kaizala for real-time governance is the State government of Andhra Pradesh.
