Here’s how you can download your Aadhaar card on smartphone using mAadhaar app.
Aadhaar is a 12-digit c, which can be obtained by the residents of India only. Launched in the year 2009 by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Aadhaar number is generated basically on the biometric and demographic areas. The data is collected by a statutory authority - Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). In order to make access to Aadhaar easier, UIDAI has introduced the mAadhaar app, where Indians can access their Aadhaar on the go. Here's how you can access your Aadhaar on the mobile app:-
1. The users need to download the mAadhaar app from Google Play on the smartphone.

3. The next step will take the users to a page, wherein they will be required to generate 4-digit password before importing Aadhaar profile in the smartphone.
4. Once the password is generated, the users need to enter their Aadhaar number. However, they can simply scan the QR code from their Aadhaar card.
5. With Aadhaar number submission, the users will receive an OTP (One Time Password) on their registered mobile number. The users need to select 'verify' for completing their profile.
6. Post verification, the users will be directed to a page where they will be asked to enter the password, which was generated for creating profile.
