Lenovo seems to be making a new smartphone, which could have an in-display fingerprint reader as well as a sliding camera module. A recent report shows a leaked video of the upcoming smartphone from Lenovo having a full bezel-less display. Until now, there are no official updates of the device in the making or being introduced to the market. But going by the video published by the tipster SlashLeaks on their YouTube channel, the phone seems to incorporate Vivo’s in-display fingerprint reader technology and also OPPO’s camera slider functionalities. However, the camera slider on the Z5 Pro appears to negate the motorised springs that automatically raises the camera modules, which is replaced with the manual slide up and down function. Also, the display here on the device flaunts a bezel-less screen design. The reason behind it is that the company had claimed ahead of the launch that their flagship device (Lenovo Z5) would feature a bezel-less display, which it did not. Lenovo Z5 smartphone sports a 6.2-inch IPS LCD with resolutions of 1080 X 2246 pixels at an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor paired with 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage memory expandable up to 256GB. The smartphone carries a 3,300mAh battery that supports fast charging via USB Type-C port. The camera embedded on this handset is a dual sensor of 16MP + 8MP with an aperture set at f/2.0 at the rear. The front-facing camera comes with an 8MP selfie shooter. The Lenovo Z5 smartphone comes in three colours of Black, Aurora and Blue. As for the prices, the phone comes in two size variants of 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM priced at Yuan 1,299 (Approx. Rs13,600) and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM at Yuan 1,799 (Approx. Rs.18,900).
