Mumbai, May 28: Lava Mobiles is all set to launch the Yuva 5G smartphone in India on May 30. The domestic smartphone maker recently announced this development through its social media channels. Post the launch date confirmation, the upcoming Lava Yuva 5G has been teased on Amazon, confirming its availability exclusively via the e-commerce platform. The teaser shows a circular island tipped to house an AI-backed 50MP primary camera. Additionally, Lava’s recent post on X (formerly Twitter) reveals the sleek design of the upcoming 5G phone. The teaser also reveals that the rear panel will get a matte-finished texture, and the brand logo with a 5G insignia will be placed vertically towards the lower end. Lava could offer the Yuva 5G smartphone in two colours – Blue and Green, as seen in the recent teaser video. The smartphone is confirmed to boast a punch-hole display; however, exact specifications are yet to be announced. We expect Lava to reveal more details about the Yuva 5G phone as we approach the launch event, which is scheduled to commence at noon on May 30.
The smartphone was recently listed on Geekbench as model number LXX513. The listing suggests that the 5G phone will bear a 16MP shooter upfront for selfies and video calling. It could draw power from MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 or Dimensity 6080 chipset. Both the 5G processors are supported by Mali G57 GPU with a maximum clock speed of 2.4 GHz. The phone will run on Android 14 OS with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The company is tipped to offer the Yuva 5G with a massive 5,000 mAh battery.
