Lava O2 Budget Smartphone Gets New Royal Gold Colour Option in India; Check Price, Availability & Specifications
The Lava O2 is now available for purchase in the third Royal Gold colour option, which has been confirmed via Amazon banner.
Mumbai, April 26: The Indian smartphone maker Java introduced the O2 budget smartphone earlier this year in March. During the time of the launch, the phone was introduced as a single RAM and storage configuration. Interestingly, three shades were revealed during the launch, but only two colour options went on sale in the country. The Lava O2 is now available for purchase in the third Royal Gold colour option, which has been confirmed via Amazon banner. The other two shades offered on the budget phone are Imperial Green and Majestic Purple. Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G World Champion Edition To Launch on April 30.
The Lava O2 comes as a single configuration variant - 8 GB of RAM + 128 GB of onboard storage that is priced at Rs. 8,499. As a part of the launch offer, the new Royal Gold colour variant of the Lava O2 is available at a special price of Rs. 7,999. Interested customers can purchase the budget phone via Amazon and the official Lava website.

As for specifications, the Lava O2 boasts a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and resolution of 720X1600 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T616 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. Additionally, there is a provision to virtually expand the RAM from 8 GB to 16 GB. It runs on Android 13-based OS out of the box.
The Lava O2 gets a dual rear camera module comprising a 50MP primary sensor alongside an AI-backed secondary lens. Upfront, there's an 8MP lens for selfies and video calls. The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for wired fast charging. For added security, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone continues to get a 3.5mm audio headphone jack.
