Mumbai, September 10: Reliance Jio has launched a feature phone at a budget-friendly price under INR 3,000 for customers. The JioPhone Prima 2 comes with several unique features for its price range and allows people to access online services, make video calls, and use the internet. The budget phone comes with a keypad and 4G connection, which serves as the second phone for users or the primary handset for older people or an emergency device for conversation in industrial environment. 

Reliance Jio has launched its new JioPhone Prima 2 in India. It has a curved design and a keypad phone mode. It is loaded with several smartphone applications, such as YouTube, Facebook and more. JioPhone Prima 2 Specifications and Features 

Design-wise, the smartphone is simple like the previous Jio features phone, and has a dedicated keypad and a 2.4-inch display. The JioPhone Prima 2 is made with Qualcomm Technologies and comes with a premium curved finish and offers access to a wide range of applications. It supports the company's native applications, such as JioCinema, JioTV, and JioSaavn for watching movies, television shows and listen to music. It comes with other third-party applications like YouTube, Facebook, Google Assistant, JioPay for UPI payment, and JioChat. 

JioPhone Prima 2 comes with two cameras - one on the rear and the other on the front. The feature phone comes with a 2,000mAh battery and maintains a 120-gram weight. It runs on KaiOS 2.5.3 and offers 4GB memory, which can be expanded to 128GB using a microSD card. The phone comes with a nano-SIM and 4G network support. JioPhone Prima 2 is available at INR 2,799 exclusively on Amazon.com page. Interested buyers can avail themselves of additional offers, such as an INR 1,750 discount, using credit cards from specific banks. The new Jio feature phone has a simple design yet offers several applications for social connection, entertainment, like watching movies, news, and TV shows, and quick payment through JioPay UPI.
