New Delhi, June 30: Telecom giants Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea have recently announced tariff hikes of around 10-25% on their existing plans, effective from July 3 and July 4. The changes will affect their prepaid and postpaid plans after a tariff plan hike. The telecom sector has been witnessing a change as a result of the 5G rollout and the need for sustainable tariff charges. As a result of this step, mobile postpaid and prepaid recharge plans have undergone a significant change, leading to comparisons between their offerings.
As per a report of NDTV Profit, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd has said that they will raise the costs of their current tariff plans by 12.5-25%. The effective date for these changes is July 3. Similarly, Bharti Airtel Ltd has also increased its prices with unlimited voice plans, data plans and postpaid plans going up by 10 to 20%. These revised rates will also come into effect on July 3.
