Jio Prepaid Plan: Telecom Giant Reintroduces INR 999 Prepaid Plan With Extended Validity; Check Details

Reliance Jio has reintroduced its INR 999 prepaid plan with extended validity of 98 days with 2GB per day, which is expected to provide its users more value for their money despite recent tariff hikes.

New Delhi, July 23: Reliance Jio has made a new upgrade to its prepaid plans by reintroducing the INR 999 plan with enhanced benefits and extending the validity. Jio will likely provide more value to its users with these changes. These updates are expected to attract more users. By reintroducing the INR 999 plan, Jio is anticipated to provide its users get more value for their money.

Recently, telecom companies like Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vi have raised the tariff prices of their mobile prepaid plans to enhance the average revenue per user. As per multiple reports, previously, the plan had a validity of 84 days, but now it offers an extended validity of 98 days, offering Jio users an extra 14 days of service. However, to provide a longer validity, Jio has made a reduction in the daily data allowance. The INR 999 plan now offers 2GB of data per day, totaling 196GB over the entire validity period, whereas the previous plan provided 3GB of data per day. Apart from Jio's offerings, Airtel also provides a prepaid plan of INR 979. Reliance Jio has also launched a new app called JioSafe. The app offers highly secure communication for Jio 5G users in India. JioSafe is among the first messaging and calling apps in India to work only on a 5G network. Jio customers with 4G connections won't be able to use it. To use JioSafe, users need a Jio SIM card connected to a 5G network and a 5G smartphone.
