The Chinese technology giant iQoo will launch a new Z9X 5G smartphone in India on May 16. The company made this announcement official via Amazon by listing a microsite listed on Amazon, which also revealed key specifications and features ahead of its India debut. As per details listed on the Amazon microsite, the iQoo Z9x 5G will sport a 6.72-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate. The panel will have a punch-hole cutout in the centre. The company claims that the iQoo Z9x will have the brightest display in the segment - carrying a peak brightness of 1000 nits. It will also fitted with dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res certification.

The upcoming device will have a massive 6,000 mAh battery claimed to provide enough juice for 2-day utilization on a single charge. It will support 44W fast charging technology that can charge the device for at least 10 hours in just 30 minutes. Powering the iQoo Z9x 5G will be Snapdragon’s octa-core 6 Gen SoC that will come paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD card. There's also a provision for 8GB of virtual RAM. 

The iQOO Z9x 5G will be IP64-certified dust and water-resistant. For optics, the phone will have a squarish dual rear camera module housing a 50MP main sensor alongside a secondary lens. The phone will be shipped with Android 14 OS out-of-the-box based on FunTouch 14 OS. The company will provide two major OS updates and three years of security patches for iQoo Z9x.
