Beijing, October 31: Vivo's subbrand iQOO has launched its highly awaited iQOO 13 flagship smartphone in China with the world's most powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The successor of iQOO 12 improves its specifications and features while keeping the same design. Besides improving performance, the Chinese smartphone maker has also upgraded the 5,000mAh battery to 6,150mAh in the iQOO 13.

The company has included up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. iQOO 13 is introduced in China in Black 'Track Edition', Grey 'Nado Ash', White 'Legendary Edition', and Green 'Isle of Man' options. The smartphone comes with an "Energy Halo," a round flashlight for night photography. iQOO 13 Specifications and Features

iQOO 13 includes a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor along with its Q2 gaming chipset to boost performance. The device gets a 6.82-inch LTPO 2.0 OLED display offering a higher 144Hz refresh rate and 2k resolution. The latest model includes a 50 MP primary camera with OIS support, a 50MP telephoto lens offering a 119-degree FOV, and a 50 MP telephoto with 4x lossless zoom. The device gets a 32 MP selfie camera on the front, replacing the previous 16 MP shooter on the predecessor iQOO 12.

The 6,150mAh battery on the latest iQOO 13 supports 120W wired fast charging. The device comes with NFC, Bluetooth 5.4 version, 5G compatibility, GPS, USB type-C port, Hi-Fi audio, IP68/89 dust and water resistance rating, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, infrared sensor and dual SIM support.

iQOO 13 Price in China, Expected Launch in India

iQOO's latest smartphone is launched in China with multiple storage and RAM options, and prices vary according to these options. The 1TB ROM model with 16GB RAM is available in China at CNY 5,199 (around INR 61,300). In India, iQOO 13 is expected to launch in December with the same features as the Chinese variant. The rumoured launch date is December 5, 2024.
