New Delhi, September 18: Vivo sub-brand iQOO is said to be working on its new-gen flagship smartphones as per several new reports. The iQOO 12 series is going to be the successor to the iQOO 11 series. The speculated iQOO 12 series is likely to comprise of the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro models unlike the current iQOO 11 series, which doesn’t have a Pro model, but has a 11s variant.

As per the latest leaks, we have quite a few details about the expected specifications of the new upcoming iQOO 12 series flagship phones. iQOO 12 Series - Expected Specifications

It is expected that the upcoming iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro duo will be sharing a lot of specs among each other. Nevertheless, most of the leaked details are about the top-spec Pro model.

As per the latest leak, the upcoming iQOO 12 Pro is likely to feature a Samsung AMOLED 2K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The iQOO 12 Pro is tipped to get powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and boot on Android 13-based Origin OS 4.0 topped with FunTouchOS skin. And these two specs are likely to be the same on the iQOO 12 as well. The iQOO 12 Pro might come with up to 24GB RAM and up to 1TB of inbuilt storage and a 5,000mAh battery with a 200W fast charging support.

Qualcomm is expected to announce its new flagship chip by October 2023. Hence, the iQOO 12 series could launch soon after chip’s market availability announcement. The iQOO 12 series is thought to be one of the first devices equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and is likely to launch by December this year or early in 2024.
