Cupertino, August 4: The iPhone 16 series launch is expected next month, and for months, several leaks and rumours have provided enough updates to help enthusiasts shape the overall design and expected features and specifications. From the rumours about having larger batteries to larger screens and better processors, Apple has already rolled out some features of the Apple Intelligence system to the iOS 18.1 beta update and is expected to introduce more during the official iPhone launch event in September 2024. 

The iPhone 15 series, including iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max, was launched last September, offering great performance and improvement compared to the previous iPhone 14 series.   • iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to have 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screen sizes 

  • iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to have 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screen sizes

  • iOS 18 with Apple Intelligence features and ChatGPT Integration 

  • 48MP primary camera with a larger sensor

  • Likely to have a Tetraprism camera in Pro Models

  • The company expected to bring back the Action Button and include a Capacitive button instead of physical buttons

  • Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 Support is expected 

  • iPhone 16 Pro likely to boast 3,577mAh battery 

  • iPhone 16 Pro Max is likely to have a 4,674mAh battery

Besides these expected specifications and features, the iPhone 16 series is said to come with an A18 chip for the standard models. The upcoming iPhone 16 is expected to be priced at USD 799 (about INR 67,000), the iPhone 16 Plus at USD 899 (about INR 75,300), the iPhone 16 Pro at USD 999 (about INR 83,600) and the top-variant iPhone 16 Pro Max may be priced at USD 1199 (INR 1,00,437). The higher variant with more storage will cost more.
