Mumbai, September 18: Apple has recently announced its iPhone 15 series as well as Apple Watch Series 9 in its highly anticipated Apple Wonderlust Event. Now, many reports say that the premium smartphone manufacturer is rolling out iOS 17 on September 18. The new iOS 17 from Apple is expected to introduce new options in the overall functionality of Apple's iPhones. The new OS will be compatible with iPhone XS and later models, including the recently launched iPhone 15 series.

The iPhone 15 series includes iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The 15 and 15 Plus models include the A16 chip, and the Pro Models include the A17 chip. Both of the devices are capable of running the latest iOS 17 coming out today. Older models than the iPhone XS will not be updated due to non-compatibility. 

Apple iOS 17 Release Time: 

Apple is set to release its new iOS tonight at 10:30 PM Indian Standard Time. The iOS 17 Software will be available for downloading and installing once the company rolls out. Customers need to ensure that their Apple device supports the latest operating system from Apple. After rolling out iOS, the customers need to follow step-by-step instructions to download and install it. 

Apple iOS 17 Compatible Devices:

Apple's new iOS will be compatible with many devices launched after the iPhone XS and XS Max. The devices launched before these will not support the latest version of the software. To check out which devices will support the latest iOS 17, the following list of devices from Apple

  • iPhone XS and XS Max

  • iPhone XR

  • iPhone SE, both 2nd-gen and 3rd-gen

  • iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max

  • iPhone 12, 12 Mini, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max

  • iPhone 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max

  • iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, and 14 Pro Max

Apple iOS 17 Key Instructions: 

Before downloading the latest iOS to your current Apple iPhone, please take a backup of your device and save all the important details. Although Apple updates do not cause any data loss, you have to be cautious about future updates as they may change the overall device look, feel, and functionality. To back up your device, please go to Settings> Your Name > iCloud> iCloud Backup. After that, you will get an option called 'Back Up Now'. please tap on it to start the backup. As per reports, the new Apple iOS 17 will introduce Standby Mode, Live Voicemail, interactive widgets, Contact Posters, and much more.
