Mumbai, July 23: Intel Core 13 and Intel Core 14 Gen processors reportedly suffered from instability issues. Intel confirmed that the CPUs were experiencing an elevated operating voltage. The chipmaker said it found the source of the problem and would release a new patch to fix it. Intel said it would release the patch next month.

The company said that the users affected by the problems of elevated operating voltage should contact the support team until it fixes the issue. Intel plans to release a microcode patch for motherboard manufacturers in the mid-August. The issue was reported by several customers who purchased the Intel Core i9-13900K and Intel Core i9-14900K. Intel began investigating the issue in April 2024 after receiving the reports. According to the report, Alderon Games, developer of Path of Titans, posted a video on  YouTube highlighting the issue on these processors and showing frequent crashes. The video titled "Intel has a Pretty Big Problem" on YouTube showcased data breakdown and mentioned the reason for the problem. The video also explored what the company was doing to address and fix this issue. The Verge said the video showed thousands of crashes impacting game players using Intel Core i9-13900K and Intel Core i9-14900K processors. Another popular YouTube Channel, "Gamers Nexus", also said due to current issues, he cannot recommend the Intel CPUs to the gamers.
