Instagram Testing New Feature To Allow Public Users to Remove Followers
Instagram is currently testing a new feature wherein public account users can remove their followers.
Giving its users more direct control, Instagram is currently testing a new feature wherein users with public accounts can manually remove the followers. With this new feature, the public account users can immediately cut off the access to their profile.
The company was previously offered this feature on the private accounts, but the Facebook-owned social networking services allowed the public users to block the followers in the past.
But, this is not the case now with the new feature that the company is currently testing. This new feature from Instagram is an excellent way of removing creepy followers without letting them know about it. This new feature for removing the follower means the users don’t need to outrightly block someone while still giving added privacy, not making the entire account as private.
It was earlier this year in May when Instagram rolled out a 'mute' feature allowing the users to continue following the people and avoiding their posts and stories entirely.
