Instagram New Video Calling Feature: Now You Can Group Call Upto 4 People While Browsing Simultaneously
The cool part of the feature is that it lets you multitask while being on the video call.
A group video chat feature for Instagram which was in works has been rolled out. With the new feature, users can start a video conversation with anyone they are in Direct conversation with. You can also make video calls to four people from chat in your inbox. You can also mute them if you do not want more call invites. The photo-sharing app had teased the feature last month during Facebook’s F8 conference.
The cool part of the feature is that it lets you multitask while being on the video call. While being live you can also minimize the window and check the rest of Instagram without ending the call. One can also post stories and post while being on the video call.

Instagram is also launching their much awaited Explore update today. The tab will sort videos into “topic channels,” enabling you to browse videos based on your interests. While Instagram already has a version of this, the channels were not organised and scattered throughout the Explore page. The new page will help you discover fresh relevant content.
Although now, channels will appear at the top of the page, it will include lists of hashtags in addition to general topics making it easier to navigate. With so many new features, you are sure to spend more timing browsing through your Instagram feed.
