New Delhi, August 23: Instagram, the Meta-owned platform, reportedly introduced a new feature allowing users to add music to their profiles, similar to Myspace. The latest Instagram feature is expected to enhance user profiles by making them more engaging and personalised. The photo-sharing platform will likely offer a more engaging experience by letting users to select a song that reflects their personality or current mood.

As per a report of India Today, Instagram users can now add music to their profiles, which was previously limited to posts and stories. Instagram now offers more ways for you to express yourself using music. The new feature will let users to include a 30-second song clip in their profile bio. However, the music will not play automatically when someone visits the profile. Users will need to click on the profile to listen to it. It may be a fun way to express and add some new twist to the Instagram profile. How To Add Songs to Your Instagram Profile

To add a song to your Instagram profile, you need to go to the "edit profile" page. From there, you can search for a track from Instagram's licensed music library, which is the same library used for Reels and posts. Once you find a song you like, you can select a 30-second segment of it to feature on your profile. The selected song will appear under a category called "Taste" in your Instagram bio.
