Mumbai, August 5: Hong-Kong based tech giant Infinix will launch the Note 40x 5G in India today at noon. It will be the fourth handset under the brand's Note 40 series, which includes vanilla Note 40, Note 40 Pro and Note 40 Pro+. The 5G handset will be priced under INR 15,000, which will be lower than the recently launched Note 40 5G that carries a price tag of INR 19,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB variant.

The Infinix Note 40x 5G will sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ punch-hole display with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 500 units of peak brightness. Powering the Note 40x 5G will be a MediaTek-sourced Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. For photography, there will be a triple rear camera setup comprising a 108MP AI-backed primary shooter. Details of the other two sensors remain under wraps. The front camera will be an 8MP shooter with LED flash. The Infinix Note 40x 5G will pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The phone will offer 15 hours of video playback, 16 hours of calling, 90 hours of music and 10 hours of browsing. At the time of launch, it will be offered in three colourways - Lime Green, Palm Blue, and Starlit Black. The phone will run on Infinix’s XOS 14 based on Android 14 out-of-the-box.
