Mumbai, June 20: Infinix will officially announce the price of its Note 40 5G smartphone tomorrow in India at noon. The smartphone maker is hosting a launch event where it will be revealing the latest addition to the Note 40 series. For starters, Infinix already has launched two offerings in the Note 40 series - Note 40 Pro and Note 40 Pro+. The 5G handset will be available online exclusively via Flipkart. A micro-site of the Infinix Note 40 is already live on the e-commerce platform, confirming key specs ahead of its official debut. The Infinix Note 40 5G phone will boast a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colour depth, and 1300 nits peak brightness. The panel has slim bezels and also gets a centrally aligned selfie camera housed in the punch-hole cutout. The SIM slot is placed on the left, while volume rockers sit on the right edge with a power button. The mid-range phone will draw power from a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

There is a triple rear camera setup housed in a rectangular module in the centre. The primary camera is confirmed to be a 108MP shooter with 3X zoom capabilities, whereas the other two cameras could be 2MP sensors. The front camera is a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calls. Infinix will offer the Note 40 5G in 2 colours - Obsidian Black and Titan Gold colours.

The phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W wired fast charging. The phone will feature an X1 Cheetah power management chip, 15W wireless MagCharge, reverse wireless charging, bypass charging 2.0, AI charging protection, and more. The latest addition to the Note 40 series will run on Infinix’s XOS 14 based on Android 14 OS out-of-the-box. It will also get IP53 certification to offer protection against dust and splash. The brand has promised to offer 24 months of OS updates and 36 months of security patches.
