Motorola, a Lenovo-owned smartphone making company has officially revealed new Android One smartphones at the on-going IFA 2018 event in Berlin. Dubbed as Motorola One and Motorola One Power, both the smartphone had been leaked online several times ahead of official announcement. The newly revealed devices run on Android One giving pure stock Android experience to the users. Apart from stock Android experience, the users will also get timely version updates as a part of Android One programme. The Motorola One Power device is touted as a premium smartphone as compared to Motorola One. Talking about the Motorola One, the smartphone comes with a 5.9-inch HD+ notched display with 720p resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it bags a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor mated with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device also gets an external memory card slot for storage expansion. For photography, the handset carries a vertically stacked dual camera module at the rear featuring a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor whereas the front camera is an 8MP shooter. On the other hand, the Motorola One Power sports a bigger display than the Motorola One. It gets a 6.2-inch Full HD+ resolution display with Max Vision 19:9 of aspect ratio. It also sports more powerful Snapdragon 636 SoC from Qualcomm which is mated to a 4GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. The camera duties on the Motorola One Power are carried out by a dual camera setup (16MP+5MP) along with a 12MP selfie shooter upfront. The Motorola One smartphone is fitted with a 3000 mAh whereas One Power device packs a 4850 mAh battery. Both the devices run the stock Android version of 8.1 Oreo OS. However, the company has not officially confirmed the tentative time frame for the rollout of Android Pie update. As far as the domestic launch is concerned, Motorola is expected to launch the One Power smartphone in India first. However, there is no official word from the company the launch of Motorola One in the Indian market.
