Huawei, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has silently launched the new Y7 (2019) phone in the European market. Though the smartphone is very much identical to the Y7 Pro which was launched in December, the new Y7 features slightly downgraded camera configuration. Launched at EUR 220 (Rs 17,200), the new Huawei Y9 is offered in 3 shades - Aurora Blue, Coral Red and Midnight Black. The main highlights of the phone are dual rear cameras, 4000 mAh battery, Snapdragon 450 SoC from Qualcomm, a massive 6.26-inch FHD+ display. The smartphone seems to be available in the European market right now with no official word regarding its release in other markets. As a reminder, the Huawei Y7 pro gets a 16MP selfie shooter whereas Y7 sports an 8MP shooter.
Specification-wise, the new dual-SIM smartphone features a massive 6.26-inch FHD+ display screen with waterdrop-style notch with 720X1520 pixels. The smartphone runs on Android Oreo on top of EMUI 8.2. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC which is packed with Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Moreover, the phone also comes with 32GB of internal space which can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card.
As far as the camera department is concerned, the new Huawei Y7 (2019) sports a dual camera with 13MP primary shooter & 2MP secondary sensor along with an LED flash at the rear. For selfies, the new Huawei Y7 (2019) gets an 8MP sensor. The phone also gets a 4000 mAh battery whereas the connectivity options comprises of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.
