Huawei Y9 2019 Smartphone with Kirin 710 SoC and Four Cameras Officially Announced

Huawei, a popular Chinese smartphone maker has officially revealed the new 2019 iteration of Huawei Y9 smartphone. The new smartphone is likely to be an affordable device, however, the company has not revealed any availability or pricing details about the newest smartphone. Going the market reports, the new smartphone is the successor to the Huawei Y9 2018 which was launched in the domestic market last year. The new smartphone is expected to be made available in the Chinese market later this month, however, there are no official words from the company regarding the same. Moreover, the customers will be offered with a choice of three colours - Midnight Black, Blue Swarovski and Aurora Purple. The main underline of the new Huawei Y9 2019 smartphone is its photography department. The device sports four cameras - two rear cameras and two front cameras. The front camera is offered with a combination of 13MP primary shooter and 2MP secondary shooter. Both the secondary shooters at the front and rear are expected to provide crisp and clear portrait images with depth sensing. The dual camera module at the back is introduced with a pair of 16MP primary and 2MP secondary sensors.

Elaborating more on the specification front, the new Huawei Y9 2019 smartphone sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ notched display at the top with resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. Under the skin, the smartphone packs Huawei’s Kirin 710 octa-core chipset that is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage space. To be offered in two memory options (4GB & 6GB), both the variants support microSD cards to further expand the memory. To be backed by a 4000 mAh battery, the new Huawei Y9 2019 runs Android 8.1 Oreo on the EMUI 8.2. The device also comes with a fingerprint sensor for an added security that is claimed to unlock the device in merely 0.3 seconds. The connectivity options on the smartphone include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS/GLONASS.
