Huawei Launches MediaPad M5 Lite Tablet Silently; Features Harman Kardon Tuned Quad Speakers

Huawei’s new tablet MediaPad M5 Lite gets listed in company’s official website, features Kirin 659 SoC, up to 4GB RAM, upto 64GB ROM and 7,500mAh battery with Quick Charge option.

Huawei’s global launch event, slated for October 16 in London, where it is rumoured to unveil the Mate 20 series, has silently unveiled a new phablet. Last week, the company’s official website introduced the new Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite in the MediaPad M5 series. The website didn’t reveal any availability and pricing of the device. The phablet comes in two variants of 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM. On the specifications side, the tablet runs on the Android 8.0 OS based on EMUI 8.0. Powered by a Kirin 659 processor coupled with Mali T830 MP2 GPU. Also, the device comes with a massive 7,500mAh battery with Quick Charge ability that fully charges the tablet in less than 2.9 hours. The display on the device is a 10.1-inch IPS screen with 224PPI and resolutions of 1920 X 1200. Coming to other features, the device supports Huawei’s M-Pen Lite stylus to help jot down notes quickly and write memos with full responsiveness. Another feature introduced is the enhanced eye-comfort mode, which effectively reduces harmful blue light and provides quick reminders when the device is too close to the face. Also, the tablet supports various sensors like the gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, distance sensor, fingerprint sensor, hall sensor, status indicator and compass.
