Expanding its product portfolio in India, Huami officially launched Amazfit Verge Lite smartwatch in India. This new wearable device is technically a lighter version of Amazfit Verge with an affordable price tag of Rs 6,999. The fitness smartwatch is currently available for sale via Flipkart. Huami's Amazfit line-up in its portfolio offer products with smartwatch style design along with an affordable price tags and major fitness features. Carrying a reputation of providing the longest battery life in the smartwatch segment, the Amazfit Verge Lite is claimed to offer battery backup of up to 20 days on a single charge. Coming to the features, the smartwatch comes with a 1.3-inch circular AMOLED display screen. The rubber casing with straps offered on the smartwatch are easily replaceable with third party options. Moreover, the users can easily change the watchfaces on the display through the app. For fitness, the company offers an optical heart-rate sensor and accelerometer. Another highlight of the smartwatch is that it can be programmed for full-day automatic heart-rate detection. Moreover, the wearable is also capable of giving heart-rate warning by vibrating, in case the watch detects irregularity.

The users that love to track key fitness activities, the smartwatch supports multiple sports mode and work out options. For better accuracy, the company has incorporated GPS+GLONASS on the Verge Lite, wherein it uses an ultra low power Sony GPS chip using 28nm process. The smartwatch from Huami also supports sleep tracking, providing sleep data to the user that can be analysed through the mobile app. It is important to note that the watch comes compatible with both Amazfit and Xiaomi's Mi Fit apps available on Google Play Store and Apple's App Store.
