It’s very simple to apply for a download of your archived material on Twitter.

For Web Users:

  1. In the web app, go to the left-hand menu and click on More.
  2. Select Settings and Support > Settings and privacy > Your account. A new page will open.
  3. Click on Download an archive of your data. You may be asked to verify your account. Click on Request archive.

For Mobile Users:

  1. Launch the Twitter app and tap your profile photo on the top-left to bring up the side menu.
  2. Next, scroll down and go to Settings and privacy > Your account > Download an archive of your data.
  3. This will launch an in-app browser, redirecting you to the Twitter website.
