Honor, a Chinese smartphone maker will be launching the new Honor View 20 smartphone in the Indian market soon. This announcement comes after the launch of Honor V20, which has been launched in the Chinese market on Wednesday. The upcoming smartphone has been listed online on Amazon India as coming soon. The page also gets Notify Me' option wherein the interest customers will be able to register for the notifications regarding the bookings of Honor View 20. However, the price and availability of the smartphone is not yet revealed. Moreover, the company will be launching the new Honor View 20 in the global market on January 22 at an event in Paris. Honor View 20 will be retailed online exclusively via Amazon India. Honor View 20 is essentially the global variant of Honor V20, which has been launched in China a day ago. As far as the specifications are concerned, the Honor View 20 will sport similar specifications as that of Honor V20. The smartphone is expected to come with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ display, resolution of 1080x2310 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. To be offered with 398ppi pixel density, the phone will 91.82 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

In the camera department, the Honor View 20 will sport a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, which is capable of shooting slow motion videos at 960fps along with autofocus, AI HDR, and LED flash support. The secondary camera will be a 3D camera to proffer depth effect to the images. The front camera will be 25MP camera with f/2.0 aperture as well as focus support. Coming to the pricing front, the Honor View 20 is expected to be priced similar to that of Honor V20. The base variant with 6GB RAM and 128 internal storage is priced at CNY 2999 (around Rs 30,400) whereas the 8GB RAM and 128GB version is priced at CNY 3499 (approximately Rs 35,500). The top-of-the-line variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs CNY 3999 (around Rs 40,600). We expect Honor to price the smartphone in India at the similar price points. The phone will be packed with a 4000 mAh battery supporting fast charging.
