Honor, a sub-brand of Huawei, launched its gaming-centric smartphone - Honor Play earlier this month at an event in Delhi. Priced at Rs. 19,999, the smartphone from Honor will be going on online sale today on Amazon India at 12 pm IST. The smartphone is one of the devices that the company has launched in recent times, but it comes powered by Huawei's flagship processor - Kirin 970 SoC. For retailing its smartphone online, the Chinese smartphone maker has partnered with Amazon India. The smartphone boasts a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with a notch on the top with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone gets Huawei’s flagship Kirin 970 SoC & GPU Turbo technology that is paired to up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM, expandable up to 256GB via external microSD card. For optics, the smartphone bags a dual-camera module at the back, comprising a 16-megapixel shooter and a 2-megapixel shooter with dedicated LED flash. Moreover, a 16-megapixel snapper is incorporated on the front for selfies and video calling. The connectivity options on the smartphone are carried out by Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C, Bluetooth and much more. The company has also partnered with Vodafone for proffering the users with 10GB of additional 4G data for 12 months (post-paid & prepaid customers).
