He reportedly hinted at the possible launch of foldable smartphones in India and said, "Many ask about our new HONOR launch in India." As per a reliable report by Tech Hindustan Times, it's highly likely that HONOR Magic series foldable smartphones will soon make their way to India. The report suggests that HTech CEO Madhav Sheth dropped a hint about the launch of a new foldable smartphone series in India. It also points out that during the Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC 2024) event, HONOR unveiled its new Magic V2 foldable smartphone. The report built further anticipation that the HONOR Magic V2 foldable smartphone series might be introduced in India soon. It shared the same post by CEO Madhav Sheth on X, saying, "Confidence or Naiveté?" However, in this post, he attached the pictures of the upcoming Vivo X Fold3 Pro AI-powered foldable smartphone, hinting at the company launching a new foldable series, likely Magic V2 and Magic V2 RSR, in India. But Tech Hindustan Times referred to this post as "sceptical". The report said that as per Digital Chat Station, HONOR had been working on a Clamshell foldable smartphone. 

HONOR Magic V2 Specifications and Features (Expected): 

The report mentioned that the company might launch HONOR V2 and HONOR V2 RSR smartphones in India, both powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. They could offer up to 1TB of internal storage and 16GB RAM. The smartphone is expected to have a 7.92-inch OLED main display and a 6.78-inch OLED cover display offering up to 120Hz refresh rate. HTech CEO Madhav Sheth also teased the introduction of one of these two models - HONOR Magic6 RSR Porsche Design and HONOR Magic6 Ultimate in India on March 19, 2024. He posted pictures of these smartphones on X and asked people to choose which smartphone they thought should be launched in India. However, there is no update about these devices and their likely launch date. HONOR had been planning to launch its new HONOR Magic6 series in India for almost two months since March 2024. However, the HONOR Magic6 RSR Porsche Design and HONOR Magic6 Ultimate are not foldable smartphones.
