Honor 9N is expected to be a rebranded version of Honor 9i, which was launched in China last month.
Honor, a sub-brand of Huawei, will be launching the new Honor 9N smartphone in India today. However, the new smartphone is speculated to be a rebranded version of Honor 9i which was rolled out in China previously. The new Honor 9N smartphone will be retailed online exclusively on Flipkart. The company has been teasing the smartphone on its social media handles that confirmed that the device will feature dual rear camera and Bezel-less Notched FullView Display.
Talking about the specifications, the new Honor 9N will feature a 5.84-inch full HD+ display with aspect ratio of 19:9. Moreover, the smartphone also gets a notch on the top of the display, which comes with resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. The handset is also believed to sport a 2.5D curved glass design and nano coating. For optics, the handset features a vertically aligned dual cameras at the rear. The rear module features a 13MP primary camera, while the secondary camera is 2MP for depth sensing. The front camera is a 16MP sensor for selfies and video calling. The front camera also gets AI beautification mode.
Powering the smartphone is an octa-core Kirin 659 SoC which is paired with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU along with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB in-built storage. The smartphone will also support expandable storage of up to 256GB via microSD. The smartphone will be backed by 3000 mAh battery, which runs EMUI 8.0 based Android Oreo. Coming to the prices, the smartphone was launched in China last month wherein the 64GB variant is priced at Yuan 1399 (around Rs 14647), while 128GB version comes at Yuan 1699 (approximately Rs.17,800). However, the smartphone is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 11,000 to Rs.14,000 for the Indian market. The exact prices of the smartphone will be revealed today at the launch.
