Honor, a sub-brand of Huawei will be launching two new smartphones in the country today - Honor 7A and 7C. The company will be rolling out the two new smartphones in the country with an aim to strengthen its product offering in the budget smartphone range. Both Honor 7A and Honor 7C smartphones will be retailed exclusively via Flipkart in India. The company will be live streaming the launch event of the new smartphones which will start from 11.30 am onwards. Talking more about the smartphones, both the devices were introduced in China earlier this year. The mid-range smartphones - Honor 7A and Honor 7C are speculated to fall under the sub-Rs. 10,000 bracket. In the Chinese market, the Honor 7A gets a starting price of RMB 799 which is around Rs. 8500 whereas the Honor 7C is priced at RMB 899 (around Rs. 9500). On the specification front, the new Honor 7A budget smartphone will sport a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with resolution of 1440x720p. To be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core, the smartphone is likely to be offered in 2 variants depending on the RAM and storage offered - 2GB/32GB & 3GB/32GB variant. For optics, the 7A smartphone will carry a dual camera module at the rear featuring 13MP primary sensor with 2MP secondary snapper. At the front, the device will get a 8MP shooter for video calling as well as selfies. Other notable features of the smartphone that are likely to be seen on the device are 3000 mAh battery, fingerprint sensor, and face unlock feature, dual-SIM slots, EMUI 8.0 based Android 8.0 Oreo.

Coming to the bigger Honor 7C, the smartphone will be packed with a 5.99-inch HD+ display with aspect ratio of 18:9. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage memory. It is also expected to sport a dual camera setup at the rear wherein the primary sensor is a 13MP while the secondary sensor is 2MP. It will flaunt features like 8MP selfie camera, fingerprint sensor, face unlock, Android 8.0 Oreo based on EMUI 8.0.
