New Delhi, July 2: HDFC Bank, one of India’s private sector banks has planned to upgrade its system on Saturday, July 13, 2024. The upgrading exercise shall have a temporary effect on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) services and other services like NetBanking and Mobile Banking. Throughout the period when the system is being upgraded, all money transfer options such as NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and HDFC bank account to account online transfers or branch transfers will not be available. However, bank customers can still draw money from ATMs via their debit cards or credit cards with limited withdrawal amounts.
As per a report of Business Today, HDFC Bank to temporarily stop UPI services on July 13. The UPI services will be unavailable at two specific times during the upgrade process, from 3:00 AM to 3:45 AM and from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM. NetBanking and Mobile Banking services might be unavailable throughout the entire upgrade period, which spans from 3:00 AM to 4:30 PM, on July 13, 2024. The bank customers can use their debit and credit cards to make payments at stores using swipe machines. Customers can also use them for online purchases through PayZapp, but there may be a limit on how much you can spend. To ensure a smooth banking experience, HDFC Bank suggests that an adequate amount of funds should be withdrawn before 7:30 PM on Friday, July 12, 2024.
